Bolton Abbey Launches Welly Walk Adventure Trail!

Looking for fun for all the family – then Bolton Abbey estate has something for everyone. With the stunning Bolton Priory ruins and the stepping stones across the River Wharfe, lots of walks through Strid Woods and the Valley of Desolation as well as the Cavendish Pavilion serving a great selection of drinks and locally produced food.

This year between 28th May and 30th October, the Bolton Abbey Estate is to launch a Welly Walk!

There will be tree climbing, tunnel slides, bridges and beams in what will be a amazing fun for kids and adults alike. Visitors are warned to wear your scruffs and forget being clean!

Just follow the Welly Walk signs to take part in this free woodland adventure from the Stepping Stones to the Cavendish Pavilion. Please note some of the obstacles are not suitable for very young children.

During weekends and school holidays – additional special tree climbing areas will be open and access available for just £2.50 per child.
