I began Bronte Walks in 2012 and it has grown into a small and flourishing tour business. Our aim is a simple one, we want you to have the best possible experience of Yorkshire and all it has to offer.

Our success is based on our ability to tailor our services to meet your needs; visit our Trip Advisor Page, ‘Bronte Walks’, and read some of our reviews. Our client list includes individual travellers, their friends and families, travel journalists, newspapers and film companies. We work with a wide range of American and British schools, colleges and universities as well as associations and tour companies. I work with a trusted group of associates each of whom brings a passion to Bronte Walks. Be it a love for the unique and breath taking landscapes of Yorkshire. Or, their wonderful ability to bring social history to life with a light touch and captivating stories.

My passion is for the story of the Bronte family. Through their letters, poetry and writing I love to explore their story and weave it into the fabric of the times. I offer guided walks around Haworth and onto the moors; the unique landscape that is the wild workshop of their imagination.

I achieved my membership of the Guild of Tourist Guiding in early 2015, the Blue Badge for Yorkshire. Our work is now extending across Yorkshire and Bronte Walks is now offering tours of both York and Hull.

York is the jewel in the crown of Yorkshire and we are happy to explore 2,000 years of history with you. Our tour of the Minster will take your breath away and for the lovers of Tudor history we have developed a tour of ‘Tudor York’ that will enthral you. In readiness for Hull’s Capital of Culture 2017 we are offering walking tours of the city and tours of Beverley and the Wolds. There are sea faring tales, streets of green ginger, poets and artists to explore.

Yorkshire is blessed with incredible landscapes and our National Parks are a true delight. We can help you explore these with day tours, excursions and we also provide back up services for those walking the myriad of footpaths that cross them. The National Trust and English Heritage look after a wide range of country houses, castles, abbey ruins and gardens.

We love guiding visitors around these attractions and helping you plan your visit to get the most from these experiences.

For tour companies we provide meet and greet services, on board guides and a planning service. For education groups we can work with you to get the most of your visit with guides, activities, expert speakers and back up facilities. For the tourist industry and attractions, we can work with you to help with the design and delivery of training programmes for your volunteers and staff.

We love what we do and we are happy to work with you to make the most of your visit to Yorkshire.
