Having lived and worked in Yorkshire for the past 30 years I have acquired an outstanding knowledge of the history, landscape and cultural traditions of this fascinating county.

I am known as a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic guide with a good sense of humour.   I list below some of the things I can offer as part of my guiding services.

Regional Tours: I can ensure you get the most out of your time in Yorkshire by helping to plan and deliver a highlights of the County tour to include the Heritage Coast, Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Historic cities and towns of Yorkshire.

Walking Tours: Historical and cultural heritage tours of York, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, Hull, Harrogate, Beverley and all other major towns.

Step-on Coach Guiding: I provide coach guiding for tour operators, coach companies and private groups visiting all major tourist destinations such as the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Heritage Coast.

Meet and Greet Services: I provide Meet and Greet services for corporate groups or private parties coming into Yorkshire from local airports and ferry terminals.

Cathedrals and Churches: I am an accredited Guide for York Minster. Tours of all other Cathedrals, Minsters and Churches in the county.

Museums and Art Galleries: Guided tours of Industrial heritage museums and all major Art galleries.

Stately Homes and Country Houses: Tours of Historic Houses including Castle Howard and Harewood House, also Castles, Abbeys and all National Trust properties.

Literary, Film and TV Tours: Guided tours to Bronte country, Herriot country and Heartbeat and Emmerdale locations.

Conferences and Incentives: I provide guiding services for delegates and their partners attending conferences throughout the region.

Walking Tours: I am able to plan and lead walking tours in the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Heritage Coast. Walks can be tailored to your needs.

Lectures and Talks: As a former History Teacher and Lecturer I am able to deliver a range of lectures and talks on the history of Yorkshire and individual cities/towns such as York, Harrogate, Leeds and Sheffield.
